I have booked mobile from Astel Corp ( in person Mr Subhash) seller of mumbai on ebay.in. However he delivered me different model which is cheaper than the modal I paid for and that too without the features claimed by him on his advertisement. Moreover, the mobile was defective and having corrupt screen. I return the mobile twice, however he deliberately took months( i.e. more than 90 days) time to return the same so that the time provided by the ebay buyer protection plan(i.e. 45 days) can elapsed. Now even ebay customer support has shown their helplessness to sort out the issue.
Moreover, Astel Corp gives 1 Yr warranty for the product. However, on contacting back over phone he bluntly said that " We dont take warranty for hardware problem even with the new delivered mobile. Moreover, if any software claimed by us is missing just download it from internet and stop bothering us." I wonder what than he covered under warranty as terms of warranty are not in detail in ebay.in.
Astel corp deliberately delivered me corrupted cheaper mobile by displaying me the better modal on the ebay.in. There are many other evidences available which influenced my decision to buy from Astel Corp, but come as fake claim now. Now I felt fooled and cheated and in the absence of ebay support, want to take legal action against Astel Corp.

Same case here but ASTELCORP tried to cheat me this time by saying that item not received back. But since i had applied for STANDARD purchase protection so i sent all the relevant documents to EBAY and they have initiated a refund. I recommend that none shoudl buy any products online from Mumbai sellers .
Delhi sellers are good in that case . Saying by my experience.

they also send toy kind of mobile set and it was useless, i returned the item. not yet received any money or item back. I lost 4000 Rs. simply. Ebay is not bothered about this. Out of terms and conditions. So plz dont buy anything fm Ebay and never.

I have already made a compaint to cyber police regarding the same, but no joy..

Item 230476808791 bought from eBay seller astelcorp 0n 21.5.2010.
After reporting for item not working , the item was replaced by the seller one month back.
The replaced item is again having display problems.
Reported several times to eBay customer support but for no use.
Already the shipping charges Rs.150/- for sending the item back to the seller not refunded.
Why eBay and the seller astelcorp are not responding to my complaints?
I am totally disappointed and unsatisfied with eBay.

The seller astelcorp sends a message that if we don't give positive feedback with 5 stars within 24 hrs of delivery, warranty will not apply. He never says this before (in listing). Big fraud.
Also he will persuade buyers saying "If we give positive feedback with 5 stars within 24 hrs of delivery, he will send CARD reader / battery .....". Dog biscuts?

The big mistake that I did is that I didnt search in the net about this seller. Biggest mistake is that I have purchased product from this seller.
Think well before you purchase. My opinion is just avoid him.

Please remember that you guys bought cheap chinese mobiles on ebay costing about Rs 3000. You have not bought branded mobiles. At these prices what do you expect the seller to give you. If you buy any chinese mobile from any shop you will not get 1 day warranty, yet this guy gives 1 year warranty. Do you expect the seller to replace a chinese handset which has been used badly and roughly and then the item is returned. Every warranty is within parametres. It is easy for anyone to cry foul without any basis or evidence on this forum.

Astelcorp is a gold powerseller on ebay with app 1700 positive feedbacks to their credit. No seller arrives at this position by cheating or being a non sincere seller. Moreover they do not sell trinkets on ebay. The seller sells expensive electronic items , which means they sell in crores. In comparison what exactly are you buyers standing. Think about it before you try to influence the world.

You have every right to blame the customers as they bought the products from your bloody sellers. You quote cheap chinese mobiles I agree. My question is why did seller having such huge reputation sell cheap mobiles. Why does he have to give 1 year warranty for cheap mobiles if it is something unacceptable as per you . It could have been stated there that "no warranty". Better you need to understand the term warranty. You guys with wrong advertisements, incorrect specifications tend to lure customers and then blame customers for buying them.

You need to question yourself, why i need to sell cheap and unreliable items to customer knowing they are unreliable.

I guess you are not doing any social service, you better understand you are doing business and you are always answerable to customers. Letting you frustration will not mask facts of online shopping flaws. There lies some ethics in business you cannot sell anything online.

Please note taht shop keeper makes it clear to the customer before he sells a product. What about this seller. he gives the warranty and he is not ready to replace the product, totally unacceptable.

PHONE PRICE WAS 4500.00(FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ON EBAY, BY MISTAKE I HAD DEPOSITED 5000.00 RS.IN THEIR ACCOUNT WHICH THEY DIDNT SEND BACK TILL TODAY. FROM THE FIRST DAY USB CABLE WAS NOT WORKING. AFTER THREE DAYS PHONE STOPPED WORKING. WHEN I COMPLAINT ABOUT THAT IN ASTEL CORP. THEY SAID WE WILL SEND NEW BATTERY AND CHARGER ALONG WITH USB CABLE. i purchase Nikon L-22 Camera fm astel corp.by Ebay. this is my big mistake to buy from eBay it has lot of cheater seller . when i rcvd my item . camera working but not saticefyd AA battery is not woring,full Rechargble battery working but maximum 15-20 pic catch not more, second problem is charger not working when i complain many many times then he send me other charger but unfortunely he also not working ,when i install cd,and connect to computer. it has does not recognized. and saying it has malfunction i dont know what is mall function , now i tired and catch my ear self and says never purchage any product fm E-Bay,

Mobile accessories on ebay is a big fraud.kindly help me as there is no response from ebay security resolution centre.if any one wants to take legal agation against the ebay as well as the seller mobile accessories, can contact me as i have enough evidence for taking legal action for false respresantion of item and unfair trade pratices.

I have similar experience with this ebay seller subhashguha. he is a big cheater in ebay. i bought n97(china made from him by paying 5990). it shown displayproblems. i return back to him. he asked me wait fro 1 month. then after three months after several negotiations he send an alternative phone with fault display. what to do? why ebay is entertaining this kind of fraud sellers.

i am requesting all buyers dont buy any thing from astel corp. he is a no.1 cheater in ebay. he wont show any responsibility.

I bought a Blackberry Torch with supposedly 18 months warranty from the cheat Astelcorp on E-Bay in January and as you know very well that when we receive the item then he tells us to give a positive feedback and then he will send the warranty and card reader, but I did not receive any of it and the biggest joke is that I was not even sent the bill of the phone so now if something happens with the phone then I am stuck. I had sent him many mails and in the beginning he kept replying that the bill and warranty and card reader would be sent but now that the 90 days or what ever time is there for the buyer protection has passed so he is not replying to my mails and the sad part is that even E-Bay the "reputable and respected" website is not willing to do anything about it.. I want to know is there any legal way we can teach this bastard a lesson I am willing to spend more money just to teach him a lesson and please guys DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY.
All of us who have been cheated by astelcorp should do something together..
