This is regarding my first shopping experiences with Indiatimes Shopping and PATHETIC is the word I want to use.
With reference to the above, I had order "Touch Screen MP3 Player" through online from Indiatimesshoping.com on 13th June, 2010 to be presented to my Son on his Birthday.
The amount waas paid through my credit card. As the terms of delivery, I should have received the product within 7 working days from the date of shipment. I also received a confirmation from indiatimesshopping informing that they have received the payment. The extract of the message received from indiatimesshopping on 13th June, 2010are given below :

I called up indiatimesshopping service centre on 23th June, 2010 and they confirmed that the product is already shipped through M/s Aramax and the product will be delivered shortly and they provided me the Consignment No. 6351636034. Only after calling Indiatimesshopping customer on 23, June, I received a mail confirming that the product is shipment and the same will be delivered shorly. The extract of the mail received on 23, June, 2010 is given below :

I again called up customeservice centre on the same days and I spoke to Ms. Reenu, and requested her to provide the Consignment No. and the name of the courier agency through whom the product will be delivered. Ms. Reenu gave the consignment No. 6351636034 and informed me that the product is couriered through M/s. Aramex.
I went to the website of Aramax.com and check the details with the consignment given by Ms Reenu and found that was already delivered on 23rd June, 2010 at Chennai and checking the description of the product I was surprised to note that the product delivered was a medical component for checking BP/Sugar levels.
Immediately I called up the customer service centre and informed them to confirm the consignment No. and also infomred that the product is already delivered at Chennai on 23rd June, 2010. Ms. Punith, call centre representative infomred me that there is some problum and he assured me that the product will be delivered within 3 working days.
Again on 26th June, 2010 I call up customer service and requested them to update the status as I had not received the product even after 3 working days. Again the call centre representative Mr. Shivam infomred me that there is some problum and assured me that there will not be any further delay and the product will be delived within 3 working days.
I forced him to lodge a compliant and he informed me the compliant No. 322191 and the same day I sent a detailed mail to customerservices@indiatimes.com. On 29th June, 2010 I received a reply/mail from customer service centre stating that the compliant No. 322191 is under process and the same will be resolved within 7 working days and the senders name was Ms. Yashasvita from custmer services.
I called up customer service centre on 5th July and 7th Julyth July, 2010 and the call representative were very casul and they were not able infom the status of my compliant No. 322191, instead of resolving the compliant already lodged, they infomred me that they have made a compliant to the Call supervisor and gave me the compliant Nos.34155 and 346282.
Again I sent a mail to Call Supervisor Mr. Kiran Kumar on 07/07/2010, giving the details of compliants lodged and the issued not resolved. He never bothered to reply the mails.
I chased the order madly with all reps in customer service, supervisors (NO HELP). On top of this the customer service reps were pathetic by disconnecting, arguing, & not listning. I esclated the same to supervisor, even supervisors were no help & just passed the buck with reluctent replies from Team Leads. It was worse experience for me.
The above instances gave me only one picture about Indiatimes Shopping, Indiatimes only know how to keep customers money in their account and earn interest on that. Seems this is the main business of Indiatimes and not the one they portray. I WOULD RATHER SAY, THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD.
A roadside retailer gives better services to its customer than Indiatimes. GOD HELP THIS COMPANY.
KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER & SEE IF YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY AS I BELIEVE THAT OTHER CONSUMERS ARE ALSO AGGREIVED LIKE ME BY THE WRONG DOINGS OF THIS COMPANY.
