A few days back a tele salesman from some Dining plus called me and talked in such a way that I mistook him as a representative from the credit card department of Citibank. I have a Citibank credit card so I did not suspect him.
He insisted for my credit card number and said that I will be given some additional facility on my card. From his information I understood that it would be free of cost and gave him my credit card number.
Subsequently Rs 5499 was loaded to my credit card bill and I feel that I have been cheated.
The call has been initiated by a number in delhi 01130599300. Their mailing ID is diningplus@shiftthoughts.com.
I have sent a mail in that ID asking them to return my money and at the same time I am lodging my complain through this forum since they have not yet responded to my complain.
I have also asked Citibank Credit card not to pay them but they have already paid.
I shall be grateful if this forum can help me out.
