    Default India Times Shopping Review

    I have always browsed on the site of India Times Shopping, and saw some things that appealed to me! But I have been quite confused on whether I should purchase from them or not, how safe is the company or the site to shop with?

    Do they actually deliver the actual goods and do they deliver on time?

    Has anyone else ordered anything from India Times Shopping site?

    Default Non Delivery of Goods Purchased Online

    Dear Sir,
    I have placed an order for "Black Barry Curve" mobile online on 10/04/2010.For same I have made online payment of Rs.14395 through my ICICI Bank card with reference no.10112009701511.On same date their executive informed me that the product will get delivered within 2 working days without any extra charge. But it never happened. When I called up their customer care once again after two days I was informed that it will take two days to process and verification of order and then it will take 7 more days to deliver the order. On 16th April I got a mail that you have dispatched the thing to my addresswith order no.112300758 but in this mail I was not given courier detail which would have helped me to trace the parcel. When one of my Colleague contacted you, He was told that courier office is near to our office and was suggested to collect the same from courier office. But when we reached courier office, we were asked to pay Rs.800(Eight hundred )as octroi charge which we denied to pay as I was told that no extra charge(Such as courier an octroi) i have to pay.
    When I called their customer care regarding issueon 19th April, I was informed that wrong message was convayed to me and it takes 10 working days to deliver the thing.They also told me to pay octroi charges and the same will be refunded afterwards but I disagreed .I requested them to ask courer person to deliver the thing and bill the octroi charges to them as they were asking me to pay and the same will be reimbursed afterwards.They also informed me that they will look into matter and get the matter solved at the earliest.Same day I have sent a written complaint regarding the subject but no satisfactory reply.I sent them a reminder but they are replying with same quote"We request you to allow 7 working days to resolve the issue.We regret the inconvenience caused to you in this regard and sincerely apologize for the same.We thank you for your time and patience. We value you as our customer and your satisfaction is of most important to us" again and again.They are not at all updating me the progress of issue instead every time they are asking to spare 7 more working days.There is no satisfactory reply from customer care centre too.
    Sir, when their office person is giving wrong information then to whom shall we trust.We assume that any person who is replying from their customer care has complete knowledge of their rule and regulation and expect proper information.Please look into matter and instruct them to deliver the thing for which I have alredy made 100% advance payment.

    Hi Ashok,
    my experience is worse then you. i lost my money completely. nither i received my ordered product nor my hard earned money. i lost!! the amount i paid to india times was my the then, more then a half month's salary!!

    Unhappy Similar terrible experience with Indiatimes

    Hi Ashok & Santosh,

    I had also posted about the purchase of a nikon coolpix. but i had to cancel my order as they didnt deliver the product in the commited period & the customer care started increasing the number of days of delivery (when asked each time), and mentioned it as part of their rules and regulations(which obviously wasnt mentioned at the time of placing the order).
    I had also sent a lot of mails regarding the same to their mail id i.e cancellation@indiatimes.co.in but i havent received so far a revertal. Today when i again asked about my cancellation, they ve told that it has been in process and that the customer care who takes care of the replys of mails have been absent.
    This is really unprofessional and has been the worst experience so far.
    I hope i get my money atleast back.

    Thumbs down Purchase order not recieved

    Hello,
    I am purchase a 3 NIKE deodarant set from indiatimes shopping
    on 6th Nov 2011 but till the date I have not recieved my order. I was
    already paid the amount of Rs 494 through my credit card. Could you
    please confirm that my product would be delivered or not otherwise
    refund the amount which I was paid already and also in future I dont
    think its a secure to shop anything in indiatimes shopping.

    Angry Never buy from indiatimes shopping

    Hi
    I buy BIOTIQUE Basil And Parsley Soap from shopping.indiatimes.com and my order no. is 30000053416 on 12th jan 2012 and till date i not received my product. I make more then 10 emails and chat with more then 10 times. I called customer care phone 2 times and wait so much time in queue and waste lots of money because they don't have toll free number. The product is only Rs. 80 but I waste so many hours to mail that people, chat so many time with customer care and call them but always I got only 1 reply that i will receive my product on 2-3 days and its shipped. They are just make people fool. So please guys stay away from this site. Because you will never get your product as well as you lost your money. I purchased from my credit card so I lost my full money here.

    Dear Sir/am,

    I ordered a electric rice cooker form indiatimes.com 16th December 2011 and received the product on 24th December but unfortunately the product got physically damaged. I logged a complain for the replacement on 26th December (Call reference number is 47404), they promised me that they will replaced the product with in 15 days. My order number is 113501685 and sub order no. 4380698.
    They picked the damaged product but not delivering the replaced product till now. I am calling to their customer care no. 09876848888, they are not giving me any positive response just telling me "we are following up".
    Please help me.

    Default Another unsatisfied customer

    I suggest not to make any big ticket 10K+ purchases on the TimesShopping
    1) Delivery dates are not adhered to
    2) No update to cases entered on the site
    3) It takes 24 hours for everything , moving one status to another, even 2 to 3 days for moving from new order to verified
    4) Customer service not equipped with any real info, process etc

    I have tried all baby online stores(hushbabies, babyoye, firstcry, letsbuy. infibeam, hoopoos. zopnow_ and it has been nice and successful with all of them.

    timesshopping --> Overall pathetic.

    They are really bullsits. If you will order then forgot it wheather you will receive it or not. I have face 3 to 4 times. Every time i have order from these rascals they create problems again and again. They will tell you that you will recieve your parcel withing 5 to 7 days but they actually send parcels after 2 to 3 months. I have faced these issues that why I warn you to not buy anything from intiatimes shoppings.
