I purchased 3 books on Indiatimes Shopping on 31.01.2012 (order no. 30000073819) and called them a week later as the online status for the product kept changing from created to verified to created again and there was no sign of shipping details being provided. So I call them up in the morning and the so called customer support rep answers after getting me to wait over 10 minutes on the IVR and all that he has to say is that the system is under up gradation and hence will not be able to provide any details and wants me to call after 2 hours. Accepted and I call them back in the evening. The first one who answers my call, of course after the necessary wait time after getting the info tells me that he is unable to hear me and should I say, was trained enough to make me believe that there was actually a problem with my phone. I had no other option, but to hang up and dial again and go through the Indiatimes protocol of waiting before being answered on the IVR and I get to this guy called Raviranjan Kumar who gave me a surprise - System up gradation again. WTF man... Back to square one and call after 2 hours script. This was it, I asked him to put me across to his manager and the response I get is that there is no escalation point for such complaints as if my call had no importance. Whatever guys. You suck big time... Really keen on suing them if i dont get the product by 9th Feb 2012.
