Hi,
My first ever buy outside of the trusted online vendors [ebay and flipkart]
I bought a B739163 - Amazon Kindle Touch* for the price Rs 7898 by Net-Banking [As cash on delivery was conveniently unavailable]
My Order Number is 30000019111
[it was the cheapest buy, now my costliest mistake]
The order was placed on 14th dec 2011, and cancelled by me on 28th dec 2011 because the item was not even shipped, "all my calling to customer care" did was raise a query. My latest case no is 71195.
The refund is due since.
Repeated complaints have fallen on defy ears, and all i have been provided for my money is false assurances,
that the money will be refunded immediately.
This plain dismissal on their part by lack of concrete actions, is basically pushing me to register a legal complaint.
Its my one month salary.
I say concrete action because, they do have a Customer Service to vent frustration, but no real authority or power other than raising query.
I even got a call from some "Pratik" from the refund department of indiatimes shopping, not once but twice, and he had no idea that he had called me before also. He did quote that indiatimes has "too many refund request", so my request is taking time.
Any help on how I should proceed with the legal procedure will be great. pointing me in the right direction will do to.
Like where all should i register the complain for E - Commerce. At a police station or with the bank??
Thanks.
Rohit Bhosle.
P.S. -> If someone still wants to buy from indiatimes shopping, I suggest only if Cash on Delivery is a option, if not seriously, trust me just show the finger, and get the item from flipkart or ebay.
