Sir,

By seeing the advertisement by indiatimes shopping[ in the "Times of India" heading "The TIME OF INDIA READERS OFFER" third week of February, I have ordered on 26th February, 2010 for a 16GB Spy Camera Pen and Spy Ear. This purchase was tjrough Credit Card. Though the offer price was 1599/- + delivery charges of Rs.150/- = Rs1749.00; they deducted total Rs.2274.00. When I enquired about this the person who has taken the order (Mr. Omkar of the Order Place Section of Indiatimes Shopping) said that the amount is including online purchase membership fee of Rs.525.00

After reminders and many follow-up with the party over phone I received the item, but the same day itself it is not working. Also there was no operational manual of the product in the packet. Immediately I made a complaint (No.174244) on the 14th March, 2010 for replaceing the same as this item is under "1 month Seller Warranty". Since no response has been received from them, again I made complaints, which are as follows:

1) on 18th March, 2010 -- attended Ms. Ritu, she has given a complaint No.178904 and saying that my complaint would be attending within 24 hours.

2) Send 3 e-mails to them(15/03/10, 16th & 18th March, 2010), but all were in vain i.e. no response from them,

3) I telephoned again on 22nd March, 2010 to Cell 09867748888 and explained all about this. At that time Mr.Tanoj attended my complaint; again given a complaint No. 183774 and saying by tomorrow i.e. within 24 hours our executive will be attending your complaint and the damaged product will be replaced in due course time. -- No response from "Indiatimes'

4) Further, today again I talked to Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, one of the customer care center, who is also assured me to replace the Spy Camera Pen with a new one. He is little co-operative, as he has given courier contact No. and some information etc. to proceed further.

Needless to say they have cheated me.

Please suggest me what to do in this regard.

With my experience, I suggest don't make any online shoppings as far as possible with this "indiatimes shopping".
