I purchased a sennheiser in ear type earplugs from Spar Market in Bangalore(INR 1500). It has gone bad within one month of purchase and the Spar guys are now denying service. At the time of purchase they claimed that for any problems i can come at spar only and they'll entertain(the product has one year warranty). On visiting spar they just gave and address and told i need to go there to get the servicing done. This is utter un-professionalism as i have seen other places replacing headphones and doing all the servicing at the shop only. I purchased on the word that they'll do all the needful if it goes bad within this period of one year. I now feel cheated.

Hi Ved,

I think its common that we have to take the product to the service center of the manufacturer to get it repaired, unless the dealer promised you a replacement guarantee for the product and you have any proof of it. It will take some effort and time to get it serviced from the original manufacturer, but I think that is the only way.
