I am writing this review with big frustration about the service provided by company “ThinPC”. I assure you that if you buy something from here you will be as frustrated as I am now, at least I have this way to remove frustration as I can write reviews and post it on internet because I am aware of it, but those who have purchased these PC’s for home use they must have spent more cost n repairing than the PC cost. I am saying this because each and every computer provided by ThinPC was “faulty” for me. I can say that this is factory of faulty pieces. And second thing they don’t provide support at home means either you have to take computer to there office which will cost you more than Rs 500 per visit or call any local engineer which will again cost you more than Rs 500 and in this case you can not open the computer because its sealed and warranty will be void if open, so you left with one option that is send computer to there office. Now in office you will find different story either you will need to pay more money or you just have to wait for your computer for months to get repaired, and reason they will tell you is “Computer company ko bheja hai ab tak aaya na” (We have sent to the computer to service centre and will call you once done), and I assure you that they reply you in a way that you will start feeling that you made mistake by purchasing this ( for example there tone was like “Computer chahiye to wapis aao varna mat aao hame kuch padi nahi” [If you want computer then come back, we don’t care about it] ) but you cant do anything as you don’t have choice than waiting as you have already spent lots of money on it. So I will suggest you to think twice before investing in this company computers.

I am saying this from my past experience with this company, not only one but I have 3 experiences like this.

1> I purchased first computer, they couriered it. When I open the packing “there was no mouse in packing”, “operating system was corrupted”. Any how I managed to start the computer with other OS cd. But trouble started when I asked for mouse for first 2 days I got rude answers that it is in packing only. After 2 days when I spoke to their boss he said that you will get it soon. I waited for 2 more days and again called then I got answer that we can not courier it collect it from office. For getting this mouse which I have already purchased I spent more than Rs 100, first by calling thmn 10 times and wasting my time and finally I had to collect from office.
2> My second computer, I purchased and they couriered it to Satara [ they were saying that its been couriered, can you imagine that it took 10 days for computer to reach Satara ]. And here also again same issue operating system was corrupted when I opened the pack. I restored it. After 4-5 days it stopped working means there was no sign what may have happened later after few days it started again without putting any efforts. But when it started I discovered that out of 4 USB drive only 2 are working means I can connect either mouse or DVD writer. And still I am using like this only because I am not willing to send computer back to them and wait for month to get it back.
3> Satara computer stopped working within 1 month it has display issue was starting but not showing anything on screen. I bring that computer back to Belapur as no one knows its technology so others cant repair it there. Now when I called to their engineer he says that he will take RS 350 for a visit at Belapur + whatever part charges extra. Till now this computer has costed me 16K (its P4) and I used it for 15 days in whole year (Good no!) . You can decide whether about purchasing the same.
4> My third computer and I would like to say my last mistake. Luckily this time operating system is ok. But the DVD writer provided by them can not play DVD’s it only can play CD’s [ is it DVD writer then? ]. I went to there office with dvd writer and waited for 3 hours and they told me that it can not be repaired we need to send it to LG service centre, here I wasted my 4-5 hours that is half day of my office which costs me more than Rs 800  ( Can you imagine the frustration? ). And its been 23 days now when I gave DVD writer for repairing and still I am waiting it to come back. In between time computer stopped working and making some noise and just not starting, now I am wondering how much they will take to repair computer when they require more than 23 days to repair DVD writer. Finally I got the DVD writer repaired but actually nothing was repaired in that the issue was as it. Again I gave the same back again it took 7 days to check it, finally they replaced it with new PowerTek which have big issue that is it will work continuously for max 2 hrs and its adapter will burst which will cost you min RS 800 and I spent it twice finally by consulting with friend I purchased new branded dvd writer instead of wasting more money and time on it which cost me 3000 means total PC costed me min RS 14000, So think thrice before purchasing anything from ThinPC as their material is faulty and they don’t provide service at all.

So think twice-thrice before purchasing anything from ThinPC. In fact I will suggest just don’t buy from ThinPC and be safe from wasting your time, money and big-big frustration.
