Subject: Complaint for return of fees from COEP

Respected sir,
Myself a B.E.graduate student from Maharashtra. I belongs to very poor family. My father is a small farmer. He earns less and my elder brother does a small job. He even not completed the graduation.
My family spent money to teach money. I took education loan from Bank of India to do my B.E..I studied a lot to make their wish fulfill, worked hard. I passed my graduation in first class and qualified M-Tech entrance (GATE 2011) As Govt. of India pays stipend to M-Tech students who qualifies GATE,I was planning to go for IITs.Unfortunately I didn’t got to IITs .
I opted College of Engineering and Technology Pune (COEP),they announced to take the admission round as specified in schedule attached with this letter. I attained the rounds and got admission there. Having many efforts my parents arranged 32125/- Rs. Fees money to take admission and I got it in 1st round of process.
After some time, I got admission in VNIT Nagpur. My native place is Nagpur. The fees were to be paid in VNIT again. For that my parents borrowed money in return of some field. I thought as soon as I will get money return from COEP college after cancellation of admission, I will return the borrowed money and get the field return.
But the COEP College Pune did not return me the money after cancelling the admission. I cancelled the admission within the procedure. The last date for admission was 28-07-2011 and I cancelled it on 26-07-2011.
As per rule, the Maharashtra Govt.Autonomous college COEP is bound to return me the fees by deducting processing fees. The admission chairman, Director of college are telling me in response that there will be no return of fees. I asked them about procedure rules as stated in response they told me that we are autonomous college and can change the rules when needed.
But I know that in democracy one cant use this Hitler’s way leading any technical institute or organization. The admission committee due to their lack of awareness are doing some irresponsible work. I think as per Sawant commission organized to take action against corrupted ministers that corruption is nothing but the laziness at work, lack of awareness by the persons at responsible positions.So, I think that the peoples are making corruption and I am getting pressed under it.
Due to this money loss of 32125/- Rs. My family is in financial problem. The time came when I am going to leave education and start working to feed my family. The college is denying to refund my fees and violating the rules.So,I request for returning the fees.
