I had recently signed up for one of club mahindra's blue packages costing about Rs.160,000 citing i was one of the first 250 gold club memberships. I had paid a down payment of about Rs.16000 defined by the clubs representative. However, on trying to avail one of their gift vouchers based upon the terms(dates and places) mentioned in the gift vouchers almost 15-20 days in advance. They were unable to provide me with a vacation for 6 locations on my requested dates. I decided that if for a 2-3 day vacation if i am having to beg so much, then it not worth paying such a big amount. Besides, there are much better offers by Taj and Leela for much lesser rates. Hence, i decided that i would like to withdraw my membership from them. I had made an initial downpayment of Rs.16833 towards the product of the Rs.160000 total, i had not made any of the EMI payments further nor have I used any of their so called facilities. I requested for a refund after couple of months through email although I had mentioned to the their executives several times over the phone that I am no longer interested in their membership. Now, they refuse to refund the amount citing some clause, is there any way I can get back my money from these people??
