Hi all...

I was duped into calling from mobile to the phone no. 5664424 for a guess the celebrity show called Bollywood Dhamaal and they kept on hold for 30 minutes (Rs. 300) duping me into believing its a genuine show whereas each minute I held the call the call charges being deducted was Rs. 10/minute. Its a fraud show run by the TV Channel E24 after 10 PM in collusion with the cell service providers cause you never get thru the Channel show and are tempted to hold the call believing that your call will be put through anytime and once you answer the question you receive the mentioned prize money but that never happens and you end up paying a huge mobile bill amount for the time you keep the call running...Its a clear cut cheating and duping case but no one dares to take any action against the TV Channel E24 and they continue to relay the duping TV Program Bollywood Dhamaal (Guess the celebrity) and make money from the duped customers of the cell service companies. Is the Government and the Police sleeping on such malpractices being openly done by such fraud small TV Channels?

Would someone who also has been duped too like me come forward so that we can all approach the concerned authority or consumer court to get this fraud being done even now stopped so that others too don't fall into such cheap traps...My mailid is ravignair@gmail.com

I lost Rs. 300 to the cell company due to duped call but believenobody else should feel into such a trap again...

Its high time these frauds need to be punished and booked under the law.
