Background in brief- We moved from Pune to Bangalore,so we decided to go for THE best transport Co.to transport our Car and household stuff We contacted Ashoka Movers and Packers as we had heard a lot about them from our friends. We agreed to pay them 40K (which included insurance of the goods too) we paid for the brand and trust attached to it,only to realise later by way of their mishandling what a fool they made out of us. They agreed to send us the car in the first week and the goods in the other week (as we were to search for a house). When we received the car, we found that the headlight was broken and there were several scratches on the car,repairs amounting to 5K.

Later when we received our household stuff, we found the dining table glass was broken into 3 pieces and several other damages all equaling to 10K. When the goods were getting packed in Pune on 3rd July, I told their Pune staff to be considerate with the dining table glass and pack it in a bubble wrap but they told me that since bubble wrap has finished they will pack it like that only and I should not worry as this is their everyday task and they will take care of the glass nicely. And eevery timewe spoke to them they kept agreeing on paying but now they are not even picking up our phones and attending our calls(arrogance at its best!).

I have been following up with Mr Pankaj Singh in Pune office since last 45 days but he is not helping me out with this issue. He told me that he has forwarded my complaint to Hyderabad office (which he has not till date as I spoke to Hyderabad staff on 31st July and came to know that they have not received any such complaint) From there a team would come to Bangalore at my house and inspect but there has been no action from ashoka packers’ side either from pune or bangalore or Hyderabad office till date. No team has come to my house for inspection and nothing has happened till now. Now Mr. Pankaj is not even attending my and my husband’s call. (Another example of Arrogance).

Further I would also like to HIGHLIGHT that when the truck arrived our Bangalore house, the Bangalore staff was so aadamantthat until and unless we would pay them the balance money, they would not deliver the goods to us. And the packing and unpacking staff at both the locations wanted tip despite the broken glass and other damages.

Latest, now even Mr. Prakash from hydrerabad office is not picking up the phone and if at all we manage to speak to him he keeps abusing us. He is not even willing to let us know how much time it will take to resolve our matter....or even if it will ever get resolved or not!!!

I got my household things and Car through Ashoka Packer last month (Sep 2011) from Hyderabad to Bangalore. Inspite of insuring things, I haven't got any reimbursement back on damaged things. I have mentioned that while signing the delivery form also.

Apart from that, I later realised that the most important things in my career- my awards and certificates are missing. That was in a box packied inside a bigger box. The truck which picked up things from my house in Hyd was a Ashoka Packer's truck. But they have moved the things to a different truck which also had someone else's things as well, that too from a different packers. I am still following up with them to atleast get me the other customer's number so that I can ask him if got my important box by mistake.... but no response till now.

I am really helpless and have done the biggest mistake using Ashoka Packers. My contact number is 9620845845.

The worst behavioured persons among their staff is V.P. Singh at Hyd office. He leads the transport and is very rude. Very sad that I lost my awards and certificates. Those were my lifetime achievements.

Please never use this packers ever.
