1. I am an Army officer and used the services of DRS AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS to transport my household luggage from Mhow (Indore,MP) TO Ranchi (Jharkhand).
2. The details are as under
4C45493 (bill receipt)
GC No 4088820.
DATE 14 MAY 2010.
3. The luggage was delivered in Ranchi on 21/22 june 10.
4. One bag containing items worth Rs 18,000 to 20,000/- is missing.I declared the value as Rs 1000/- only in the insurance list.
5. Now the DRS rep at indore/ranchi is saying that take the claimed value of 800/- rs (80% of declared value) and close the case.
6. While I have all my suscpicions that the bag has been deliberately stolen as they knew while packing about the contents of the bag vis a vis the cost declared.
7. I want to lodge a case of theft and cheating against the team at indore/ranchi or the company as such.
8. Kindly guide me ,help me and educate me on this.Should I be hopeful to get my bag back or duly compensated.

Hello all,
I just want to give one suggestion. Never go for the safe packers and movers. They are big fraud and thief. I just parceled bike from Delhi to Bangalore, first they charged less than others and promise me to deliver the bike into a one week. But sad part start after that. After week they showed their real color. When I called them after one week.It was a Wednesday. First they said, u r bike is still not in a town. I will call u tomorrow. They didn’t call. I called again on nest day. They said “it is in town, I will send u today only. “, But they didn’t and didn’t take care to inform me. Again I called on same day about the status. But no response. Same thing happened on Friday and Saturday. I was calling them continually but no response. They were not picking up the call. I was so worried about my bike. Finally, I sent a message with saying that, I am gonna do the police case on them. They only call after that and said I will send u today only. Still they lied. They said I will send on Monday morning without forgetting, so u wont miss u r office. But they came up on evening 7 o’clock with my half bike. Yes, here is the miserable part. They gave me my bike in a very pathetic condition. It was broke and screeched from all the side. Both side mirrors were missing. Side lights were totally gone. And I gave them my helmet to help the guy who came to pick the bike in Delhi. But in Bangalore they said and I haven't give any helmet to them, after some time they said, it was in very bad condition so they thrown it. And they were asking more money also because they it’s a Bangalore.

And of the day, I was very depressed and unhappy with their service. They stolen my helmet, my bikes mirror and totally broke my side lights. And delivery after 15 days.

So, guys, plz don’t go for the safe packers and movers. They really fraud and thief.

My name is abhishek singh rana and i am a resident of 3/138,gandhi colony tollygunge, kol-92.
I booked my household goods from Mira road(Ph- 9320117123) thane through Agarwal packers on 25-09-2010 with GC no-4116927 and today it's 19-10-2010, when i am enquiring about my goods to MR.Sanjiv Sinha (Agarwal packers, kolkata mob 9830027488,) he is not giving responding properly.First of all my goods ewre supposed to be delivered on 2-Oct-2010, which has been already delayed and secondly, I have made half the payment in Mira road(15000/-) and the balance (17500/-) is being asked by Mr.Sanjiv before the delivery of the goods and when i am saying the amount will be given post the delivery of goods, Mr. Sanjiv Sinha is being very adamant and saying the goods cannot be delivered in that case.

Please help me in obtaining my belongings.

I totally agree with other comments. They are nothing but a fraud.

1. I was told that 25% was advance and 75% on delivery but their agent forced me to pay 100% advance and I had little choice after the truck was loaded and we handed over the keys to the owner.
2. They charged me Rs. 6000 for octroi in advance and no receipt was given. I have proof from the truck driver that the actual octroi was Rs. 998. They refused to pay me the balance.
3. They charged me Rs. 750 for unloading and the guys never showed up.

Here is the worst --- When asked their manager about octroi and when I said "ye chori hai", his reply was "tumne kabhi chori nahi kiyi?"

Do not go with them unless you enjoy trouble.

We too have an unbelievably poor service from this packer. We moved around 20 boxes from Hyd to Pune and paid about 17k total amount in advance.The consignment was to reach us in 3 days max, but it took them total 9 days deliver, with one box missing. we had to make at least 4 calls everyday to find out the whereabouts of the consignment. Although Hyd to Pune is overnight on road, we came to know that our load went to Karnataka and due to lack of full load the container was waiting in Karnataka. Meanwhile they kept telling us its on the way for 8 days. It is 2 weeks now, they say the missing box has reached Pune 3 days back, but since no delivery van is coming to our area, its pending delivery. Only if they wish to deliver the delivery van will move, isnt it?

Even though their quote was the almost double compared to other quotes we received, we decided to go with them since we read few good reviews in the Net. Later we
came to know there is other Agarwal Packers, with name very similar. Not sure which one is worse.

For gods sake, choose a different mover.

Mumbai Delivery manager "Satish" was no useless guys, i do not know why they appointed him there, He does not know how to talk to customer.

And also, they did not bother to inform me why it was delayed. In order to get the status, I dialled to head office and spoke to person name "Mr Raghuram", I assured me that my goods will reach next day. I spoke to Mumbai Delivery manager "Satish" who is most <b>useless</b> guy on this earth, i do not know why "Agrawal movers and Packers" appointed him there, He does not know how to deal with customer.

When i called munish and asked him the status of my consigment. He informed me truck has reached Bhiwandi and suggested me to call bhiwandi guy for more info. I asked why should i call since my point of contact was bangalore office.....He told he will get transferred to Bhiwandi and update me further on this then.....So, My dear friends, Pls. avoid them...My sincere request...

1. I have used the services of DRS AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS ( Kolhapur) to transport my household luggage from Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) to Navi Mumbai.

2. The details are as under
Bill No- DRS/MUM/8607/11
GC No 4128607.
DATE 15 MAY 2011.

3. The luggage was delivered in Navi Mumbai on 16-May-2011.

4. During transportation some of the articles were found damaged and it was brought to the notice of DRS AGARWAL, Navi Mumbai branch immediately.
5. We had already paid insurance premium towards damages during damages (3% of goods value)
6. Even after intimation of damaged goods two weeks back, DRS AGARAWAL group has not processed the claims nor doing the repair works.
7. Every day, upon enquiry, they give some new excuse / illogical reason for delay in attending the repairs.
8. I have serious doubt on their intention on giving me the compensation for damage/ repairs of goods.
7. I want to lodge a case of ‘harassment to customer” against the team at Navi Mumbai or the company as such.
8. Can anybody suggest me on this?

Dear sir,

Myself Manoj kumar Panda working with the corporate hose ESSAR as DGM-civil. I had shifted my household goods through Agarwal packers and movers located at Bhubaneswar from Paradeep to Kalyan (Mumbai) in part bearing GC no.-601558. All items (15 no)were packed, loaded and started for destination in presence of me at Paradeep on 10
th June 2011 .I received all 15 consignments at Kalyan (W) on 29
th June 2011 counting the numbers and signed over the POD. After the departure of unloading persons I started opening one by one cartoon suiting my requirement .

when I opened the cartoon no- 6-which contained pilow,blanket and laptop , it is observed that the my laptop and charger was missing leaving laptop cover.I spoke with our counterpart Mr Vikram from Bhubaneswar he expressed his helplessness in this regard. Hence I request you to order an inquiry over this issue and restore my laptop within 5 days time to avert unnecessary legal proceedings (Lodging police FIR etc.)
