Sir,
A courier was sent from Mathura to Jhajjar (Consignment No. Z28877037) by DTDC courier on 9th Feb and the courier person promised to deliver it by 12th Feb. The courier was not delivered on time and when I tried to check its status online, I came to know that it was moved from Delhi Apex office of DTDC on 11th Feb to Jhajjar. I went personally to DTDC Jhajjar on 12th Feb and was informed by them that they have not received the packet. I contacted DTDC customer care on the same date and lodged a complaint but no response was given. I contacted DTDC on 14th Feb again (13th being sunday) and tried to track the courier but I was informed by DTDC Delhi Apex office that they are not having courier and I shall contact DTDC Jhajjr for enquiry. I contacted DTDC Jhajjar again and they told that they didn't have the courier. On being kicked between these two offices of DTDC I tried calling some senior staff of DTDC and then I was informed that the couurier was lying with DTDC Bahadurgarh which is not a destination of a courier coming to Jhajjar from Delhi Apex as per information given by DTDC staff.
They told that somehow that courier reached bahadurgarh and they promised to get it delivered on 15th. On 15th I again visited DTDC Jhajjar but I was told that they were not having the packet. As the packet was important for me, I decided to visit DTDC Bahadurgarh office which is 90 KMs away from my place.
I went to DTDC Jhajjar and collected the packet. When i came back to my place and checked it, I found that one of the article sent by courier was missing from packet.
I request you to please intervene in the matter. I want compensation for missing item as well as for my visit of 200 Kms just to collect a courier which is obviously the job of the courier company.
