This is bring in your kind knowledge that on 23rd Dec,2011 I have sent one Important courier to my friends who stays in Chennai. I have booked the courier at DTDC FRANCHISE in Jia Sarai (New Delhi). While booking the pin code address is verified by the person sitting in the shop and confirmed that the courier can be deliver in the given address. 14 days after that on 6th Jan,2011 i suddenly got a call from DTDC office (New Delhi) that your courier got returned back from Chennai to New Delhi because the address doesn't exit.

The pin code in which the courier to be delivered was 600119 and DTDC provides service in this reign. First, they said that the address doesn't exit but when i proved them that it exit they changed there statement saying they have shutted down the courier service at this reign but it take time to inform all the DTDC FRANCHISE in India because of that the courier is returned back.

I want to know..If the DTDC FRANCHISE at Chennai (PIN : 600119) shutted down suddenly then why DTDC sent the courier to Chennai first ? (Which i have seen from the online tracking which says different story).

And If it so happened why they informing me after 14 days and that also when they returned the courier back to Delhi.

First they said address doesn't exit then why they took the courier ? and if so then why they didn't call to the receiver or Sender to confirm or ask about it ?
When i asked this to the DTDC (Delhi) over telephonic conversation they were telling like "they don't have any policy to call the sender/receiver".

The Courier was very important and it didn't get delivered because of DTDC irresponsibility. When i asked the refund of courier money they were telling why should it get refunded "you have paid for Delhi to Chennai" and we have paid from Chennai to Delhi to get it back". Isn't it Funny ?
