I am registering this complaint against Gati Couriers & Cargoes.
I had given them a call on 5th Feb to deliver a shipment 3 boxes weighing 20 kgs from Delhi to Bangalore. I informed them I need to send a shipment on 10th Feb. I was provided the details on costing and was asked to give them a call one day before to collect the shipment from my place.
When I gave them a call today to collect the shipment they refused to come saying they have stopped taking shipments from Delhi. They did have the courtesy to even inform and I was depending on them. Now that I have to leave the city tomorrow morning. The call centre executives (toll free) are not even willing to understand my situation and arguing that my first call was just registered as a query and hence they have no liability. They have demonstrated uncourteous behaviour and said they can not do anything about it.
This incidence demonstrates the heights of unprofessionalism and lack of committment. I strongly feel that there has to a strict action against these since it causes lot of inconvenience and mental harrassment for the customers.
