Mr Vinod Satwani of Jack Hobbies hyderabad booked on 04 Apr 11 a package on my name (Col Sanjay Bajpai; Commanding Officer; 33 MP Bn NCC; Makronia Sagar (MP) 470001 tele 07582-230778; via GAti hyderabad tracking no - 469610642. as a gift to NCC students and thus non commercial. As a recipent of the package it was for personal use of the children of NCC and has no resale or commercial value thus as per the commercial tax deptt of MP even it is exempt from providing form 69 etc.

1. The booking date shown by the courier service is 07 apr.
2. The site shows shipment held up showing detention documents not available.
3. I rang up the customer care thrice during this period & asked them not to hold the parcel; either to return it to the originator or ship it.
4. No action has been taken by the courier service so far i.e. 13 apr 11 night.
5. The courier company is refusing to send it back to mr Vinod & neither is shipping it ahead.
6. I am filing an offical FIR at Makronia Sagar MP for the same.

Form 49 is applicable only if I am a commercial person and wish to resell the goods which any fool can see by the address I am not.

The same was very politely explained to the Gati customer care by it seems they are refusing to listen.

How can the courier hold the shipment and neither return it to the originator for lack of documents or ship it ahead. People certainly lacks basic ethics.
