I hired Leo Packers and Movers, for transporting my household goods from Hyderabad to Patna on 23rd May 2011. I was promised that the goods would be delivered on 29th May 2011. However the goods got actually delivered on 7th June 2011. As the goods did not reach on 29th May 2011, I was continuously following up on a daily basis with Leo Packers and Movers and was not getting any definite answers on the date of delivery. The amount of mental stress which I went through in dealing with different officials of Leo Packers and Movers is difficult to describe in words.
All the employees of Leo packers and movers gave different versions at different times causing more and more anxiety. I was not sure that whether I would receive my goods or not. On 3rd of June 2011, it was communicated to me that the goods left Hyderabad on 30th May 2011. From 23rd May till 30th May, I was kept in dark and was told that my goods are in transit.
The amount of phone calls and money spent on that is not considered in above mentioned monetary loss. After the goods reached the destination, it was kept unloaded for next 36 hours. There was no labor assigned for unloading and unpacking. Even after it was unloaded, they left the goods at the door and never unpacked that although the unpacking charges were collected from me in advance. The experience of transporting goods through Leo Movers & Packers is horrible and caused insurmountable level of mental stress as well as direct & indirect financial loses. I would like to be compensated for the mental and physical harassment and financial loss caused due to the delay in delivery & incomplete services as well as breach of agreement. The indifferent attitude and behavior of the entire staff as well as their senior executives of the company has caused lot of trouble and mental stress. Despite of my written complaint with the company at the time of delivery, there is no response till date. I request a quick action and adequate compensation.
