I and my wife got opened nine MIS accounts in abovementioned postoffice in 2003.For first two months we got monthly interest enteries in our MIS A/c copies but didnot take payment.Afterwards we both opened Savings A/c's separately into same post office. IN these savings A/c's our monthly interest started crediting automatically. When our MIS A/c's were near maturity in 2008 we enquired about interest of starting 2 months whose enteries we got into our MIS copies but hadnot taken the interest payment. To our shock Postal authorities told us that you had got interest as enteries are there in your copies and our log book. We asked them to show us the withdrawal forms of interest payment of initial 2 months. On our writing many letters and personal visit to Senior Postmaster, The Senior Superintendent of Postoffices,Jalandhar,Chief postmaster General, Chandigarh, Deputy Director General Postal,New Delhi,We got a letter from SSP, Jalandhar the record for above mentioned months had been lost so can't show the withdrawal forms and in other letter he told us that we had filed FIR against the concerened record keeper who had retired fom service. I asked them why didnot they file FIR when record was lost and send us copy of FIR to us. Moreover they should give us interest of that period along with penalty till now. But they are not responding. What should we do now
