I sent a courier(mentioning it as "Rakhi") on 10th August from Coimbatore to Rishikesh by Professional courier and its still in transit (17th Aug). While sending the courier, I had asked their representative about when it would reach. He told me that it would reach within 2 working days. But till today the status shows "On Transit" in their official site with Activity as "Despatched to Rishikesh" on "Aug 12 - 2011 17:56". On calling in their customer care helpline Avanashi Road branch on 13th Aug, they assured me that the package would be delivered on 16th Aug at the latest. Again when i called the same branch for status on 16th Aug around 4pm, they again told me that it would be delivered by today evening or by 17th Aug by 10am. But when I called them again they never picked my call. Then i found Vadavalli branch office number from internet and recited the whole incident on 17th Aug by 12:15pm, the representative told me that please give me sometime i wil again check with the main head office in Avanashi Road and get back to you. The real surprise was that she told me no one had received any complaints till now! Later she asked to give the full address so that she would find and deliver the package. When i called back to give the address 1min later, she comes up with the reason as "there are no branches available at Rishikesh and that my package is coming back". - My question is when they do not have any branch at Rishikesh then why did they agree to courier the package at first and gave me false assurance that it would reach in 2 days! Second, the main Avinashi Road branch office representative states that i didnot make any complaints and Third, at the end of 8th day they inform me that there are no branches available at Rishikesh!
