We have bought Tata Indigo CS Petrol car on August 31, 2011. It was booked on August 6,2001 (the booking amount cheque of Rs 10,000 got cleared). We were called-up by Tata Cargo, Gandhinagar, persons to take the delivery. As usual, while talking to General Manager Mr. Gaurang Choksi, we had asked what other benefits we could have beside the free insurance and he without any discussions, or further specific bargaining told us that from the total cost of the Vehicle he would provide us discount of Rs 57,000. We were amazed at that time, but we thought as this petrol modal is not sold much, for the reason he might be giving us such discount.
Then he asked us to wait for about 15 days for passing and insurance. We agreed as such procedures do take time and those were the festival days (ID and Ganesh Chaturthi, etc.)
Then, as 25 days passed we reminded the Tata Cargo receptionist Ms. Jayshree Zala for the same. She replied that it would be done in some days (5 or 6 days).
After 5 -6 days again she was reminded, and on third time she replied that she was everyday telling her GM in the meeting which they have in morning about our case, and it would be better if we talk directly to the GM Mr. Choksi. She gave me his mobile number also.
Mr Choksi till today (12th October2011) kept promising and when today i went personally to inquire and have a face to face talk regarding the purpose, he, to my surprise, gave me insurance paper Xerox copy of Amount Rs7,22,500. i inquired how a vehicle costing Rs 4,70,000 can get such insurance, and i was a bit soberly loud at that time, he disclosed that we were given a TEST DRIVE VEHICLE. Again this was the biggest surprise. i argued as he had cheated us but he tried to defend that he had told us about the same. He is lying and the other information then i got that Tata Finance do not give loan on any TEST DRIVE VEHICLES which shows and proves that (1)he has taken the sanctioned loan by fraud and has cheated the Tata Finance Company. (2) He cheated the customer by keeping in dark, and (3) after buying a car, instead of getting its pleasure we are being harrased and having tension about it. (4) EMI could not be deducted from the account by the Tata Finance Company due to the above reason and the loan repayment time span for we customers will extend. we need the help from Consumer Forum and need justice.Phone no. 9429063711 (after 11:a.m.) or lakhanpalkirti@yahoo.com on facebook.
