Thumbs down Transport of car by Agarwal movers and packers

I had transported my car INdica from Vizag to Delhi through Agarwal movers and packers (consignment no. GC4076522). They had promised delivery within 7 days. However after 10 days there was no communication from their side. After innumerable tellephone calls I did not get a positive reply as regards the whereabouts of the car. It was reluctantly accepted by the Company that they had damaged the car while transport. The Company was not even apologetic for non-delivery of the car and damage caused to the car. Their representatives in Vizag and delhi also stopped receiving my calls. Again after innumerable number of calls they were reticent as to what action they have taken towards early repair and delivery of the car.
I want to file a complaint with the consumer forum and ask the compant to pay damages for late delivery, damage to the car and inconvenience caused.
    Please advice.

Default Poor services of packers and movers.

Dear Girish, have had similar bad experience with Agarwal Packers and Movers today,,,,late delivery, non-chalant attitude of officers including the AGM and VP,,,and of course, then they stop receiving your calls.
Do let me know once you come to know of how to file complaint under any consumer forum or consumer protection act. Would like to join in.

I have had even worse experience with "Duke packers & movers", based in Bangalore.
I am unable to find any forum where such complaints can be registered and these frauds can be taken out of business.
Please somebody give me the details of how these packers & movers be taught a lesson for the callous attitude.

Angry Transport of car by Safe Home movers and packers

I had transported my car Maruti 800 from Delhi to Kota (Rajasthan) through Safe home movers and packers. They had promised delivery within 3-4 days. However after 7 days there was no communication from their side. After innumerable tellephone calls I did not get a positive reply as regards the whereabouts of the car. Most of the times they don't pick our phone, when they attend they say the car will be delivered today.
Please let me know what should be my next step. Should I lodge FIR against the company.
    Please advice.

    dear friends,

for your quotes above, its clearly established that you have chosen un-professional companies and hence this confusion, there is a very simple truth behind this problem,

    - understand the value of the item that you want to transport or packed and moved,
    - in most cases, i am sure, we try and go for the cheapest price,
    - when the price is too good to be true, trust me there is something worng,

choose a reputed moving company, most corporates already have listed vendors,

remember: you spend peanuts an you will get monkeys,
