Story of a Future Cake I bought a cake on 08-10-2011 from a bakery nearby. I didn't take a notice of the expiry as if was on phone while shopping. Since we recently moved back to India my wife is very particular about what we eat. Well like a good dad I fed the cake to my kinds while my wife was away. And upon coming back she noticed that the cakes for post dated 10-10-2011. I was really shocked to it.

I have seen things which are expired or almost to expired in super market but never a post dated item. I contacted the Elite Cake factory in Cochin and asked for an explanation. The Factory Manager apologised and I demanded for a apology letter on or before 12-10-2011.

To my worst nightmare they didn't bother about the letter. So I contacted my Advocate and moved things forward. Now they are all over my place with letters and compliments.

For all the people who are looking forward for X'mas and also the safety of their kids and family, please keep away from Elite cakes.
