So, I just saw a commercial about the proposed new food and beverage tax. So far, they're considering taxing all sugary drinks, to include soda, juice, energy drinks, chocolate milk, tea, and things of that sort. Diet drinks won't be included. Once enacted and enforced, they're hoping to include "unhealthy foods" such as pizza, cookies, burgers, and twinkies, things of that sort. I did a little research to get the details. This proposed tax is supposed to help put a small dent in the deficit that will be caused by the universal health care bill. In my opinion, this is kinda crazy! What do you think?
