Herebelow is the text of the email sent to Carrier Aircon. This the fourth email. No action taken by them].

Dear Sirs,

On 09.04.2010 I had purchased 2 Acs, one being split unit of 1 ton. The split unit has not been installed properly. The persons of Zen Airconditioners have filled in gas atleast 3 to 4 times and checked the unit, but the gas seems to be leaking again and again. This implies that either the technicians have not done a proper job or the Ac unit is defective.

The AC was taken by Zen AC and I was also informed by your Mr. Raja, of your Mumbai Unit, that the leakage in the A/c coil had been arrested and the a/c was reinstalled. The gas again leaked in a week's time and there is absolute no cooling. My purpose of buying an Ac in summer has been totally defeated. The summer has already passed and now I am facing the October heat.

I had also requested Zen Acs for the free service, which they have still not given. I am again contacting them for the same.

I am fed up with the unit and hereby call upon you to kindly replace the unit with a proper & good and defect free machine within 48 hours, failing which, I shall be constrained to take action, as advised, at your cost and consequences, which please note.

I have also complained on your customer care no. and the complaint no. is MUM1124 on 20/9/2010 and was promised that the problem would be resolved in two days. With regret I have to state that the problem is yet to be noticed by you, resolution seems far away.

I do not expect this from a company of your repute.

Your Mr. Raja had assured me that Carrier Engineer would get in touch me , but regret to say that nobody contacted me till date.

I am getting the feeling that you are not interested in getting my problem resolved.

If at all you care about your customers, then courtesy demands that you resolve the problems without any further delay.

I also get the feeling that you believe that all customers are fools and would not take any action. If that is your belief, I think you are sadly mistaken.

I look forward to your taking immediate action in the matter
