I have purchased a Sofa from a furniture Shop on May 29 for Rs 19600/- which include 2 chairs as well. Initially i paid 1000/- and shop keeper said i will have to pay minimum 50% to get work start. Within a weeks time i paid rest 9000/-. before delivery i have to pay him rest of the amount, so we paid even remaining amount to him. He assured me to deliver it by 19th June which he delayed. when i checked with in shop the sofa was prepared but the quality of cloth was worst. when we compared it with the sample selected, sample was too good but cloth used in sofa was worst. We argued with him but he was not ready hear anything. He said the cloth i got from the shop which you have selected, now i can not do anything. So we decided to have new cloth. We purchased a new cloth and delivered to him on 9th July. He assured me to deliver it in 4 to 5 days time. we are calling them every day since last friday i.e. 16th. answer is "its not yet ready we will require one more day". today i called and told him as i will go to consumer court if you are not delivering it. I got the answer as "ok then we will deliver it only after i get notice from them".

Please help me getting my sofa and i want him to be punished as he should not do this with someone else.
