I am writing this based on my current experience with Home Town outlet at TGIP Mall, Noida. I had ordered for a dressing set, bed and one side table on 15 August 2010. I paid an amount of 19,118 under order number 53630. I was promised a delivery within 15 days.

I was waiting for the delivery. I first got a delivery for the dressing set, on asking about my bed the warehouse had no clue. When the packs were opened I found that the colour was different from the one I have ordered. I had to return it back for change and asked them to deliver along with entire set. I went to the outlet again where I was confirmed and committed by Mr Mohan, the Furniture section supervisor that the entire order has been shipped from mumbai and will definately reach by 3rd September and if possible 2nd September. He took the revised details of the kitty again.
On calling today he said that there has been no dispatch as on date from the base and might take another 7 days (not a confirmed figure).

He refused to provide me the contact number of his supervisor as he was on leave. I had bought the furnitures as my wife had to shift on 1st. I was ready to wait two days for the same. Now I am in a situation that after paying the entire money I dont have any status about the delivery. On saying that I might cancel the order which was not my intention he happily gave me the e-mail id for it. Is this why I chose Home Town for.No one has ever called me stating that there will be some delay in delivery. I am the one chasing around after paying the money for my rightful objects.
I mailed to their contact center stating the details, but there has been no response. It seems that they give a damn to all these and will deliver as per their will do whatever you do.

Is this expected from a name like Home Town. I am extremely dissatisfied and have no idea about the same as no one is bothered to take any ownership. Please provide a suggestion move for further actions.
