Recently, I purchased a Dinning Table and Chairs set from Home Town, Kolkata. The Details of the same are as below:

600350916001 MRP- 72000, Net Amount: 54998.

Along with the dinning set i was to get a Centre Table free, the Article code for the same is: 60035587001. I was to get the delivery on 30th Aug'10 as their was no stocks in your store at the time of Booking. Finally on 30th Aug. The Dining Table and chair were delivered and i was told that the Centre table will be delivered later on 1st of Sep. Again on 1st i got a call that the Centre table currently with them is damaged therefore they need more time to deliver wherein they gave me 3rd as the date of delivery.

Now, on 3rd they delivered me a Centre Table in the evening, which when we opened, was found to be rejected piece as the fininshing of the product in not at all upto th mark, rather one of the leg of the Centre table is shorter in size and has been adjusted so as to work. As if the Shopper has been given the same as a Complimetory Gift. (Please see the picture attached). Please understand i have paid Rs. 55000/- for a product which in the Furniture market is available at Rs.40000/- also just to ensure that i will get better quality product from a known name like Hown Town in comparison to a Local Furniture Shop.

Also now after 4 days since the fitters have fitted the Dinning Table, the Table has already started showing Gaps. The Quality and Service of Home Town is Pathetic, and on top of it they take the Shopper for granted.
