Pissed off with Fenesta Customer Service

    Default Pissed off with Fenesta Customer Service

    I had booked an order for 2 Fenesta Upvc windows from Elegant Window Systems, Bangalore in first half of December, 2010. 100% payment was made, which happens to be more than 40K. A week after Fenesta representative came and took the measurements and promised that order will be delivered in 2-3 weeks i.e. by mid of January, 2011.


    Then Mid of January came, and since then its been a painful saga of follow-ups and putting up with false promises of dealer and Fenesta. This is how the story goes.

    - On Jan 15th dealer told that consinement should reach by 20th.
    - On 20th my wife called again and dealer told that due to Bangalore Bandh consinment is held up it should reach in a day or two.
    - After 2 days when my wife called dealer told that they are unable to locate the consinment and he would call us back.
    - Called on 24th and dealer told me consinement has gone missing and new consinement will come on Feb first. I was really frustrated but decided w ait.
    - On Feb first, Fenesta representative called my wife and told that there is some problem at Bangalore Manufacturing plant of Fenesta and now they are getting it Manufactured from Chennai plant and it will take more time.


    This is just rediculos. First they lie about shipment being lost and now about manufacturing issues. Dealer told me that product is manufactured at some other location and will come from there so they need a week time and company person told it was going to be manufactured in Bangalore.

    I went to Fenesta thinking they are good reputed company, guess I was wrong. They collected all the money upfront and now they are playing tricks while delivering and there is no accountability from company's end. I don't know when are they actually going to deliver or are they going to deliver anything at all Experiencing their quality of customer service, I am really worried about quality of product as they promised sound insulation to me, and now I doubt their window capabilities.

    Any ideas on what can I do to get my windows installed soon?

    Still following up, dealer has stopped answering my calls. Not sure where to turn for help now? Fenesta sound like a cheat company. I am really worried about the quality of windows that I am going to get if I receive at all.

    Finally after numerous follow-ups windows were installed 2 weeks back but with broken glass. Now company is not replacing broken glass. They did agree to replace the glass. Since then they have been proscatinating glass installation by saying after 2-3 days whenever I call them.

    Since yesterday neither company person nor dealer is answering my calls. These guys secure 100% money upfront and quality of their response is pathetic.
