I had purchased a pair of sleepwell mattresses vide bill no 080 dated 14/04/2010 from shiv shakti traders b-5/39 sector-7 rohini delhi-85 ph:9212312527 posing as authorised dealer of sleepwell mattresses (mentioned in bill). As the matteresses weere opened there was defect in the mattresses. The complaint was made the same day & there after on in person visit to the shop no action till date is initiated. Later he told that the company will look into the matter. On contacting the company they have conveyed that the supplier is not an authorised dealer & as per terms & conditions only product purchased from dealers is being entertained despite the fact that the product belongs to the company & was purchased with bill & dealer stamp on the guarantee card.
Even as per the bill no vat was charged( told to dealer why not paid, he conveyed that it ir already paid to/or by the company).
The above fact shows that the seller is not only cheating the buyers like us but also making loss to the govt. The company despite knowing the facts does not take any action for their products & is least concerned of its goodwill & malfunction in the system. Kindly help in resolving.
