We ordered for a sofa set and TV stand from Sekar'ss Depot (No. 38 Taramani Link Road Velachery Chennai 600 042) more than 4 weeks ago - the furniture was promised to be delivered within 2 weeks - we tried contacting the store several times but there was no response. We even contacted the store manager Satyaseelan (98412-91990) - he kept saying it will be delivered tomorrow, but it has been more than 10 days since we first heard this - I have paid about Rs 20000 for the sofa and about Rs 4900 for the TV Stand - the check was cashed immediately the next day.
We have called them so many times that they stopped picking up our calls, in fact we even tried from different phones, now they know all the numbers we would call them and therefore stopped picking our calls from any of our numbers. At this time, we are fed up completely with them and want the money back.
We advise fellow consumers to avoid this store for any items. They may offer goods at lower price, but they are not delivered anyway. BEWARE consumers.

it has been a month we yet to receive a dining table set from Sekar's Depot, Taramani link road, Velacherry, everyday 044 42313757 telling another date, and the mobile number 9841291990 (sathyaseelan) never picks the call, I paid Rs/-37000 for 2 cots with bed and 1 dining table, the cot has been deliver after 3 weeks that too many time i ran to that office and use to ask face to face, finally they have delievered the cots alone and told they will deliver dining table be next day, but its almost 5 weeks i yet to receiver,

I am posting this for the customers who should aware of the service of this Sekhar Depot.

I am vinoth residing @ Pallikaranai. I have purchased Washing Machine from Sekar depot. I have paid money but they delivered the machine after 1 month only. I had visited their stores number of times and used to follow-up thro their contact nos. but no use. No one used to take the call.

Seelan is the manager for that store. He never used to pick the call.. One day i went and shouted seelan like anything. Finally i told them that i am going to file case against them and i dont want the machine.

Finally after 1 month only i got the product.

My sincere advise for those who want to purchase anything from Sekar depot is that please dont go for sekar depot.

I booked a dining table for Rs. 14970 in a shop named “Sekar Depot in Velachery, Chennai” on 14.1.2011 and they promised to deliver it within 10 Days. But they were not able to deliver it even after 1 month, after several follow-ups they told they will return the amount and on 1.3.2011 they issued me a cheque for the above mentioned amount with a cheque dated 2.3.2011.

I sent the cheque for collection on 10.03.2011 and it bounced, after that I contacted the shop and they told they will return the amount by cash with the cheque bounce charge, but daily I am going to the shop and they are not giving me the amount and giving only fake answers. Can you please help me in this case how to deal with them and get the money from them?
