638476-H Ex WO Badree Singh Chauhan Elect Fit Mob. 09935611172
E-mail badreesingh@ymail.com Air Officer Commanding Air Force Record Office Subrato Park New Delhi - 110010 CORRIGENDUM PPO Sir, 1. With due honour and regards I bring following into your notice and hope for an action on priority. 2. As per PCDA (Pension), Allahabad, circular No. 430 dated 10 Mar 2010 and GOI letter no. No PC 10 (1) / 2009 - D (Pen / Pol) dated 08 Mar 2010 table No. 120 in the appendix, the basic pension of a warrant officer of 'X' group who has put-up 28 years of service and retired before 01 Jan 2006 is Rs 13,105/=. 3. I am a Warrant Officer of 'X' group and has put-up 29 years of service and retired on 30 Jun 2009 after implementation of recommendation of 6th CPC. In the 6th CPC various component of payment has been included for the benefit of pension such as basic pay, grade pay, MSP, X group pay and classification pay etc. But as per my PPO No. 08/14/B/12465/2009 dated 24 Sep 2009 my basic pension is only Rs 11,580/=. 4. The matter was referred to Officer in Charge (Pen & Wel Wing) in your office by me via e-mail on 21 Jul 2010 and hard copy was send on 24 Jul 2010. The reply received from the said officer via e-mail on 27 Jul 2010 state that my pension calculations are correct and the PCDA circular and Government of India letter which I referred are applicable to pre 2006 retirees. 5. As per recommendation of 6th CPC, the classification pay which was being paid to the PBOR of Indian Army has not only been increased but also has been recommended to be paid to the PBOR of Indian Navy and Indian Air Force as well. But the same has been implemented partially in Indian Air Force. I request your kind favour to look into the matter so that it can be paid up to the rank of Master Warrant Officer as in the case of equivalents in Indian Army. This will also affect me in my pension and bring me at par with my equivalents in Indian Army. 6. As I understood and conclude, the Government of India in order to bring the improvement in the pension to bridge the gap in pension of pre 01.01.2006 and post 01.01.2006 discharged personnel below officer rank (PBOR) of armed forces has issued the said letter. Since there are various new components in the present pay structure, which were non existing previously, so there has to be a little difference between the pension of post 01.01.2006 pensioner little higher side and pre 01.01.2006 pensioners little lower side. 7. In my said complain, the pension of a warrant officer of X group who has put up 28 years of service and retired pre 2006 might have been fixed in comparison with present pensioners. In the present scenario, if I compare myself, after putting 29 years of service and retiring after the implementation of 6th CPC, it could be possible only if I am granted 70% pension of my last emolument drawn or 50% of the highest pay in pay band. 8. I would like to draw your kind attention towards the socially unjust discrimination between the officers and personnel below officer rank in the Military Service Pay of armed forces since I am also the beneficiary of the same. 9. In view of the above facts I request your kind favour to look in to the matter and do the needful at the earliest. Note : - For similiar complains pl visit 'dy cda af new delhi' link 'complain - non reciept of corrigendum ppo as per 6th CPC.....' in google search. With regards BS Chauhan WO (Retd) |
