I am a resident of Pradhikaran in Pune. This is a well planned township about 20 Kms from Pune city.
My address is Plot 620, Sector 28.
For past few years we are having frequent failures of electric supply. Initially the reason given was damage to over head transmission lines and under capacity of local transformers. Subsequently lines were laid underground and parity was brought in the transformer feeders.
Even then the failures continued. Almost every week we have a day or two of total failure.
Inspite of this we have to pay surcharge for getting uninterrupted power supply.
What an irony.
Many times we get power at low voltage causing failure of electrical equipments like fridge, electric motors etc.
It has also been seen that when the power is restored after the failure only few houses including mine are in the dark. Here again the reason given is 'One phase out' and so on.
We have a local complaint office. This is supposed to be working 24x7. Most of the time when the power fails, either the office phones are off the hook or the staff is missing.
With infant in the house, it is very disturbing and difficult to survive such days of misery.
Can my problem be resolved on this Forum?
