I have applied for the passport of my wife on 15/06/2010. On 22nd of July policy verification has been done but till date it was not sent to Chandigarh office for final processing. On asking the delay it was told to me that Higher authority is not available who will sign and send the passport to Chandigarh office. I don't think without bribe our police can do anything.
