Without any proper information to the consumer the board has changed its policy of billing. Due to this lot of confusion is there by using this confusion the officials are collecting Rs.60/- as R.C.and Rs.10/-as BPSC.per connection This is for what? I have asked them about this they have answered that the Rs.60 as re-connection Charge and Rs.10 as surcharge for Rs.60. but no reconnection is necessary since no disconnection is made then what for they have collected.During change of this policy consumer is not called for meeting and explained about this.During this period they have orbitrally changed the date collectionof reading according to their own convinience without information to the consumers. for examble existing practice of taking reading is every alternatie month they taking on after 16th is the reading day and 1st to 15th of the next month is bill payment date.But new policy is on any day they will take the reading,bill payment will be before 20 days of the reading this is very great confusion among the consumers no definite date is there for collecting the payment by this the board has reduced the bill payment period from maximum of 30days to 20 days this is not the great advantage to the board, If they want it they can shift bill collection date to 10th(last date) alternate month from 15th of alternate month. There will not be any confusion . If the board collect the payment monthly instead bi-monthly also great advantage to the board that is they can get money one month in advance than the present system,either one of the above sugestion they can made.Instead of doing in a better way they confusing the consumer and getingthe extra payment like re-connection charges and surcharges etc. This is unwaranted. The payment extra collected from the consumer may be adjusted in future payments.
