I would like to make a complaint against
Bharathi Taneja's Alps Cosmetic Clinic

I have been using their services for one year. This year 23rd of January 2010, on the suggestion of one of their staff members, I got hair straightening therapy done for myself by paying INR 6000 by paying through my Deutsche Bank credit card (copy of statement attached).
Therapy was given by Mr. Anil.
They did not give me any receipt /bill.
With in 3 to 4 days I realized the therapy is not done nicely and my hairs are burnt.

I Approached them on 27th January and they refused to accept the same by putting blame on me that I have done something wrong, which has spoiled my hair.Mr Anil,refused to accept that my hair are spoiled. Another manager Mrs. Shweta said yes something is wrong but they can not do anything now.

I approached them again and Mrs. Seema, another Manager of Alps accepted, that my hair our burnt. The responsible Manager Mrs. Babli advised to call an hair specialist Mr. Mohinder from their other clinic to check and advise the remedy.
That day I requested for bill and they gave me a normal market printed bill, which does not have any name or stamp of ALPS CLINIC (copy attached)

Same week, I was called again at their clinic and Mr. Mohinder also confirmed that my hair are badly damaged and Spa treatentment and oil massage will cure it but will take long time.

I went through tremendous mental stress due to this.

First time that same day I requested them, to refund the money INR 6000 as therapy given is not succeeded and also requested them to treat my hair.
Manager Mrs. Babli told me same is not possible. I told them I need my money back or I will sue them.

They called me next day and promised that they will treat my hair till they are as normal as they were before therapy and will give me a voucher of INR 6000(it is a yellow card copy attached), from which I can keep on deducting money, when I take any service from them.

I requested them to refund the money which Mrs. Babli simply refused.

I continue taking their services for the treatment of my hair and also other services for which they were charging and deducting money from voucher.

After some time I realized they are not sending me any promotional offer messages on my mobile(as they use to regularly do earlier on my mobile).They had some nice offers on their Anniversary on 14th Feb. 2001.

Later I asked Ms Sandeep, the receptionist and she said may be they missed it.

I was told my sister in law that there is HAPPY HOURS 30% LESS OFFER, if we take service between 12PM to 3 PM every day.

I went on Sunday 06th June 2010 at around 1Pm and got my facial, pedicure and threading done.
Oil massage was part of my hair therapy treatment and I took oil from home.
They charged me for all services ,even for oil massage without giving any discount.

Mrs.Babli said, since my hair are fine now, they will not give me any more hair therapy free and since I have this yellow voucher, I am not entitled for any discount or any packages.
I refused to accept the same and told them this is my money which they have and I can avail any facility by paying through voucher, which Mrs. Babli refused.

I requested them to refund my balance money that also Mrs. Babli refused.

I left that place.

On Monday 07th June Mrs.Babli called me to say sorry but refused to refund money or give me any further treatment for my spoiled hair. Also refused to give any discount for my last visit, which I am entitled for.

She told me I can use voucher as they say.

On 06th June only their another hair therapist who gave me oil massage told me still my hair are badly damage and till I grow new hair nothing can be done.

On other side another employee Manger Mrs. Babli says my hair are fine.

I am under lots of mental stress since this whole episode has started and any body who look at my hair can say my hair are burnt and badly damage.


I want my balance money back.

Discount should be given for my last visit, which as a customer I am entitled for.

My hair should be treated till they are completely normal.

A compensation of INR 2 00,000 (Two lakh Rupees) for the mental torture ,ill treatment,harassement,embarrassment in front of other customers, and stress given to me.

By not giving a bill to the customer, they are cheating Government also for not paying any tax like service tax etc.

Please help me regarding this case or guide me how can I persue this case.
