I had consulted Dr.Mohan Kameswaran for my sleep related problems.He diagnosed after conducting studies on me and advised me to purchase a CPAP machine and had given a reference to a person selling the machine. I got a machine from him for 1 day free trial and found that he is not authorise person of that australian company. I also found that he is representative of a hyderabad based company which is importing second hand machines used by patients in european and american countries. The price he has quoted through a email invoice was also Rs.10000 higher than the brand new machine.

I had written about this to Dr.Mohan Kameswaran about this unethical practice in which the patients are cheated by a group with the reference they get from his ENT RESEARCH FOUNDATION.
I didnot get response from the doctor which leads to the suspicion on the Doctor who had been honoured Padmashree by Govt of India.

I am also a patient of Prof. Mohan Kameswaran at MADRAS ENT RESEARCH FOUNDATION & I have had exactly opposite experience. Not only was I diagnosed properly & efficiently, I was given a choice of surgery or CPAP. I chose CPAP & was given details of 2 dealers with the clear understanding that I could chose any of them or anyone else I preferred. The dealers name is only for our guidance & there is no compulsion for us to buy from anyone & the hospital makes it clear to us. I am therefore surprised & distressed by the wild accusation Mr. PeterRex Charly has made against one of the most respected doctors in our community & a hospital which is a premier institution not only in the country but the whole region. Makes me wonder in Mr.Peter has some other hidden agenda! Also I have been witness to several poor patients being treated free by the hospital. So let us not tarnish the reputation of a wonderful doctor based on flimsy impressions.
