I purchased on spectacle from Titan Eye + outlet at Dehradun, which is situated at Rajpur Road.
Complain 1:
The purchase process was started on 6/10/2011 with the delivery date 20/10/2011. However, It was not delivered on same date and for the delivery, I visited the showroom for more than 7 times and finally I got the delivery close to one month of the placement of order i.e. on 12/11/2011. I requested to the manager of the outlet for compensation for delayed delivery, but the request was not taken seriously, which was further forwarded to the higher authority of Titan Eye + and Titan group of managerial team. Again the request was not considered but a acknowledgment email was received that needful consideration is going on for my request, however; no action was taken on my request.

Complain 2:
After receiving the spectacle, I could not find the compatibility of lens power fitted in the spectacle with my eye power. I again visited to the outlet with the complain, the spectacle was deposited on 20th December 11 at the outlet and after one month on 21st Jan 2012 the same was delivered.

Complain 3
The frame was not up to the quality and color was faded within one month. When I visited the outlet the selection of alternate frame was asked to me. Which should have the smaller or same glass size, finally I got one compromised model with in their requirement, which cost more to me and I had paid the excess amount.

Complain 4:
The replacement of the lens in not up to the quality of original order. The original order was for a lens with Anti-glare, anti-reflation and other high end of coating, which cost me 950/pair in glass material. But the replaced lens is without any specialized coating which can be obtained in local market for 100-150/pair.
This case in clear-cut fraudulent, where higher cost was charged for least quality materiel. Which is consequently disturbing me while working at computer and attending the power-point based lectures and in many other personal ways.
The same was complaint to the Eye + team be email on 31st Jan 12 for speedy reply and rectification, but till date I could not received any communication from the Eye+ team.

During entire process I have faced enormous mental pressure for rectification, but new mistakes are being committed by the eye+ team every time.

It is requested to consumer forum to look into the matter so that a speedy justice can be done with the consumer and a proper compensation can be negotiated from the firm and Titan Group for these inconveniences.

Sub: Item purchased are of lower quality than the ordered quality

The initial date of purchase was started on 16/10/2011 with delivery date 20/10/2011 with a Sales Order No. TDRR003269 at your outlet in Dehradun.
The first delivery was done after one month with incompatible lens power. The item was submitted for correction on 21st Dec. 11 and a replacement of lens was delivered after one month with lower quality. The original order was for a glass lens with High CR, Anti-glare, Anti-reflation and all other types of coating, the MRP of the lens was around Rs 950/pair. But the replacement was given for poor standard lens without any of the coating which can be obtained from the market @ 150/pair.

I can see this case as a fraudulent. Where the highest cost (at least six time) was taken for least quality material. I am bringing this matter to your kind attention for further legal action, if I will not get a speedy rectification from your side with proper compensation (as requested in earlier emails, please see below the compensation amount will be Rs 2100).

As I have visited your outlet to receive the booked item for 6-7 times and I have use auto for the same which cost 150 per-side i.e. Rs 300 per visit and for 7 visit total expenditure would be 300x7=Rs. 2100.
Therefore, if I consider the reasonably discount to you and ask to refund only Rs 100 per visit then total refund should be Rs 100 x 7= 700.
This refund of Rs 700 should be adjusted in present bill.
Requested to do the needful and instruct your concern outlet for the same.

Since I have visited several times to your outlet at Dehradun after the due date of delivery, which is ~15 km away from my home and considering the business status of the TITAN, what compensation can you give me for the inconvenience caused by your esteemed corporate?
