I had purchased a Sukam 120AH inverter, Sukam 120AMP Battery and Sukam Trolly on June 17, 2010 from Anandamela G9 Gariahat Market Kolkata 700 019 vide their tax invoice nos 5182 and 5183 through their salesperson Ms Rumpa Lahiri. When the electrician of the company by the name of Mr. Samir Gupta came to install the inverter, he found the inverter to be defective. I really do not understand how a company whose product turns out to be defective can go in for such massive advertisements. The electrician however told me that the particular inverter was found to be defective earlier itself. Why was it then sold to me?
When the electrician went to Anandamela and got the defective inverter replaced with a new one, I found to my amazement that the model had been changed. Instead of the earlier model Ms Lahiri replaced it with Shark 850 model. When I called her and asked her why she did that, she said the Shark model was the latest model and was more expensive which was totally untrue. The price on the cover of the Shark 850 model shows Rs.6000 whereas I had paid Rs.7555.56 for the Sukam AH model.
I had vide my letter under certificate of posting dated June 19, 2010 requested Anandamela to replace the Shark 850 model with the model I paid for but to no avail.
