Dear I am a consumer of NDPL.having K no. 31400136174E , installed at 703 Dr. Mukerji Nagr, Delhi -9 In Feb., 2010 a new meter is replaced. We have the same consumption and members of the faimily, electric load etc is same. New meter which is install is running fast, which fact is apparrent from the consumption pattern for the corrosponding period. For the bill month August 2008 the units consumed are 917 and for the month of August 2009 the units are 795 whereas the consumption for the same period in respectof August 2010 is 2005.which means consumption reflected is approximately 2.5 times

Similar is the situation for the billing period for the month of June 2009 is 872 butt for June 2010 it is shown as 1921.which is again approx, 2.5 times.

You are therefore requested to get the meter checked from electric inspector as per procedure.and grant refund or adjust the amount excessively paid under duress of disconnection for non payment.
The applicant/consumer is willing to deposit any such amount for such verifcation/check as per rules.
