sir,
i have retired from defence forces and come to gandhinagar(gujrat) for resettlement. i had hired one house with a rent of 3500/pm and given deposit of 5000/-. no written paper deed was done. i had to vacate the house just after 30 days as house owners were always fighting amongst them. Though there was no quarrel with me but environment there was not suitable for children, kids were always frighten. So i vacated the house immediately. Now when i ask for returing my deposit (5000/-) from house owner, his yound daughters come fighting with me by saying we will not return any money, you go wherever you want.

sir, kindly guide me what shall i do, can i lodge a complain in consumer court ? if any officer investigate. he would come to know the truth. how can i get my money back. its not only the money my prestige also is at stake. they do not deny my money but they refuse to refund my money. KINDKY HELP ME OUT> or guide me how to proceed ?

Right now I just shifted my job at gandhinagar and i have taken one house on rent at gandhinagar sector 3c but I am now really tired from house owner who is leaving at the ground floor each and everyday he is changing his condition some time he is telling me rent increment threat some time he is saying now you have to pay light bill extra (when i have taken house on rent at that time he said me that light bill will be included with rent) even my rent is 4000 Pm but I am Really tired... I Dnt know what to do ??

I think this is the main problem in NARENDRA MODI'S City..because the same problem was faced by my colligue in sector 2 and sector 4 And if i am not wrong then in a next few years no body will stay here because this kind of peoples are staying in gandhinagar and from the simple Provision (Kirana) store owner to vegetable seller each and every people are doing there business with full Threat and DADAGIRI ... Is this a right way to behave with people.. ?? i think as compare to Ahmedabad .... GUJARAT's WORST CITY IS GANDHINAGAR.....

In that case, **** OUT OF GANDHINAGAR. We dont need you here..... Learn to respect the place where you are living and earning your livelihood. If not then, as I said earlier, **** OFF.... Gandhinagar is overcrowded due to guys like you.. You cannot judge the entire by one or two people. We are WAY BETTER THAN Biharis, UPites, North Indians, and South Indians...
