Dear Sir

I am a SENIOR CITIZEN of 85 years of age and live in the ground floor of my house in Paschim Vihar. The upper floors are occupied by my children and their families.

I applied for a PNG gas connection on 18-2-2010 with registration number 605968 vide a cheque no. 689687 dated 1-2-2010 when the gas pipeline was being laid in my area. The money has since already been debited from my account without a gas connection to me till date. Residents of upper floors also applied for this connection following me. While fittings of pipeline from the lane to the points near kitchen have already been laid on all floors, the supply of gas along with installation of meters has been restored only on the upper floors, leaving me high and dry in spite of the fact and my plea that of all the residents in this building, I am the most in dire need of this gas connection in view of my age and health.

ALL MY REQUESTS FELL ON DEAF EARS SO FAR AND NO ACTION WHATSOEVER IS BEING TAKEN FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS NOW DESPITE MY REPEATED REQUESTS AND COMPLAINTS.

The complaint on 04-7-2011 above was lodged during a personal visit to the IGL Office in RK Puram.

One of my sons, who pursued with IGL for lodging above requests / complaints has unfortunately died two weeks ago. I, therefore, turn to you through this medium to get resolved the pending issue as early as possible.
