Indane Gas is from Indian Oil Corporation and it is one of the largest domestic and commercial LPG cylinder providers in India. No doubt the company has been able to make things easier for people, but the company gas agencies has harassed people across the nation in many ways. No, not each and every agency is a problem, but there are many where people were made suffered with so many problems like – irregularity in supply of gas cylinders, non receipt of gas cylinders even after apply new connections, no information and no procedure of the agencies, selling of the cylinders in black market by them to make huge profits and so alike problems.

There have been instances of complaints from many people about forceful selling of accessories of gases to the customers with the threatening that the company otherwise would terminate the supply of cylinders at home and terminate their connection. The agency officials are irregular, they don’t come to office on time and more than that they also don’t act on complaints regarding the servicemen, the agency staff and other complaints.

Indane is today one of the largest packed-LPG brands in the world and has been conferred the coveted ‘Consumer Superbrand’ status by the Superbrands Council of India. However, when it comes to complete stress free service it has to go a long way. There are people who complain regularly about the booking and irregularity of supply of cooking cylinders in homes. Many dealers or unscrupulous agents working in the Indane Gas service centers sell the cylinders in Black market to make huge profits making the subscribers suffer. There have been cases when people even received cylinder after one year of booking. Waiting in Que and booking at times is also a problem for Indane Gas. There are problems of non-delivery of cylinders in time and other complaints. And at times they are harassed by the employees of the Bharat gas service centers who don’t respond properly to the needs of the customers.

For all these reasons we need to complain. But many of us must have tried a number of times to complain about the Indane gas having no use at all. Therefore one should learn the proper process of Indane Gas complaints for solving all the issues. My self A Kishore kumar s/o A. Yadava Rao (A/C NO: 3975) residing at Kumarwadi, karwan,Hyderabad, Andrapradesh -500006.
Since many years we are facing problem with Jyothi enterprises (Agapura branch).
No body responds on customer care number.
When we asked about the same simply said "No body is available to lift the phone we are busy".
It is not the first time the same feedback you can get from other consumers.
Is this customer care. And they dont bother either customer or their satisfaction.
This type of incidents forced us to go for consumer court.

Please help in this regards and close the issue at the earliest.

I booked gas on 7th June' 10 but till date i.e. 14.6.2010 dealer did not supply gas. Every time they take 8-10 days to supply gas. Some times due to non receipt of gas at their end there may be delay but not every time. Please see.

We are having gas connection in South Madras Gas Agency, Chennai 28.

We are upset about the following things:

(1) very rude behaviour by delivery boys and they will bring in odd hours only .

(2) Suddenly the delivery boy will come with an additional bill for Rs.70/- and say that he is inspecting the cylinder also. Why this compulsory levy on customers? They do not send a qualified person for inspection and they cannot impose additional charges on customers.

We request IOC to intervene and do the needful.

One mr. ashok of 13/7 I street, North Thirumalai Nagar, villivakkam chennai 49 is misusing the LPG gas cylinders by selling out to retail tea shops. He has a double cylinder in his name(indane) and using the same. At the same time he is using his father's, sister's double cylinders and brothers cylinders also.
all are indane only.

This is in regard of failure of refilling of Gas Cylinder. We have booked our gas on 21-06-2010, with connection number 3685. But till date, 6-07-2010, the cylinder has not reached at our place. I want to keep in the notice of Indane Distributuin companies, that their poor services will affect their brand and it may result in loss of customers.

Hi,

I have booked a gas on 25/06/2010. The executive who received my call told me that I will receive the gas within 7days. Today is 08/07/2010 and still I have not received the gas.

My question is how many days it take to be 7days? Each time after booking the gas I have to call 3/4 times to get it delivered. It seems that until and unless I am calling them back they are not supposed to deliver. This is not the first time that it happened. Every time I book the gas and I get assurance of getting it within 7days of time. But it is my shocking experience that the 7days never come by even seven working days.

For last 1and half years I am facing this problem. Now if this is the service level or trend that you follow then please mention it explicitly/ inform us so we can switch to other provider.

Please remember by providing gas you are not doing any favour to me - its your duty to deliver the service to the customer.

Please solve the matter ASAP if it is possible for you.

I hv a connection/consumer No. 18428 with Indane Gas Distributor M/s Vasant Kunj Gas Service (Tel No 26898953 & 26134492). I hv Booked 2nd connection under the same connection no. The delivery boy came to my house with the Gas cylender, Regulator & pipe & demanded Rs. 3000/- from my wife for the connection charges. But At that time My wife didnot hv Rs. 3000/- with her & asked the delivery boy to come tomorrow. But the delivery boy got the slip of 2nd new connection signed by my wife, Mrs Kusum John, by fraud, as his intentions were not fair & I presume that he will the sell my 2nd connection, Cylender & other in black Market.

So I humbly request you to please look into the matter & please help me in getting the 2nd connection from the Indane Gas Distributor M/s Vasant Kunj Gas Service at your earliest & oblige.

i am mahendra .d.r. my cust. no: 76393. i am residing at no 27, munithimmaiah l/o, kogilu road, maruthi nagar, yelahanka old town, bangalore - 64. my gas agency is nataraj enterprises. yelahanka new town. bangalore - 64. hear by i would like to mention the agency is not been responding either delivering my dbc. though all the formality has been done and given a recipt, since 08.06.2010. order no : 7448. every time i go to office they innsist me to contact the delivery person, but when i call his number, every time he says no stock recived today so i will send it tomorow, when i enquired in person with nataraj enterprises they said me it is already deliverd. when i showed the receipt they said me it will be deleverd the next day and they gave me the same person number whom i was followingup from last 2 month (srinivas - 9845997628) . then i decided to go in person to meet srinivas he asked additional of Rs. 200. to delever. i refused to give it and he says there is no stock recived today. where as i saw the stock laying in front of me and even i have taken a photo of the stock with indane lorry. i told him that i will give a complaint to nataraj enterprises, he says me that whoever comes and tell's me also, i will not give delevery. with out Rs. 200 bribed. and also i doubt that this agensy whould have sold my cylinder in black market. kindly i woud request you to resolve this problem as soon as posible.

Myself residing at Old Madrass Road ,Bangalore. Cauvery Indane Gas Agency, Near Swamy Clinic , KR Puram, Bangalore -560 036, is the distributor for this area, its code is 1581804. Whenever we book gas they send it within 2-3 days but the delivery boys who come to give the gas cylinder are worst to deal with. They ask for extra money to deliver the gas. They don’t cooperate at all, they are pathetic, worst to talk and deal, his name is Kanhaiya. It’s really frustrating here. People have made it more worst becoz they give them money but if we say NO then they will take back the cylinder and make fuss and also they will trouble you to the extent that you either will have to give money or say SORRY to him......its really head breaking and frustrating for people like us, who want to say "NO" to bribe or WRONG SYSTEM.
Moreover, if you complain to the agency people against that delivery boy ...either they will not respond to us properly Or will listen and hangup. Why this compulsory levy on customers? They cannot impose additional charges on customers. I request IOC to take immediate necessary action against such people and agency (for supporting them) and help us else you will loose business and Trust forever…!!!!! .

My consumer no.11716 and I am a resident of VARAMBIL VEEDU,MANGAD P.O,KOLLAM,KERALA.
DIVYA GAS Agencies,NH 208, KARIKODU (code:SAP 117708) is the distributor for my connection. When ever I have been trying to contact the said agency the phone remains busy and many time they have a endless hold. I have been trying for more than 30 days over phone continously for booking the gas cylinder. But am very sorry to bring to your notice that there is no response from them. The tel. nos. provided by them(0474-2711734, 2711355) remains busy and not answering.I booked the cylinder on 02.09.2010,but yet now I did n't get it. Every time I have to face this problem for booking of gas cylinder.

Kindly look into the matter and ask the distributor to set his system either by fax or e-mail, and have some acknoledgement system to overcome this situation.
