Electricity bills due on 15-10-2011 were delivered on 17-10-2011 evening.Immediately I had contacted their customer care and lodged a compliant, as the bills mentioned that an interest will be added in bills if bills are not paid on time.
I protested and had few exchanges of e-mails, regarding this.
Today I have received an e-mail that if the bills were not received in time I should have lodged a complaint and will have to pay interest.
Please inform if my stand is correct or not.Is it not duty of the company to deliver bills in time or the customer should be chasing and complaining about non receipt of bills.
