I had a airtel delhi postpaid connection(9971622828).In the month of aug 2010 I wanted to close the connection as i wanted to move out of delhi.After calling there customer care they refused to terminate the connection and said they will give a low cost plan,when i refused they told that they will give free calls for 3 months.Even after requesting the disconnection again they told that i can give my no. to my relatives etc.I had no choice but to stop using the no. and stopped paying the last bill hoping that they will by themselves disconnect the connection.But that did not happen and they continued to charge the rental.Now after four months they have started calling me for bill payment with all four months rental.This is a kind of company airtel is.I had used the no. for more than 8 months and always paid bill before due date and airtel feels that i am a chor(There executive told me).I even told that i will pay the last bill amount but not the 3 months rental.still they do not listen and keep threatening me. Will never recommend any body airtel ever in my life.
