Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been a customer of Airtel for a long time. My monthly usage comes to around Rs 2000 atleast on prepaid. I received an SMS from Airtel on 29th Jan 2012 confirming that my Como Shayari package subscription has been renewed. I was shocked to see as to how did it activated on the first place. I called Airtell customer Service on 121 and they informed me that the service is active since November 2009 and I have been charged Rs1/ day since then. To my surprise, I never activated any such service and on top of that, even if it was activated, then till date I have never received any Shayari SMS from Airtel. I raised a complaint to get a full refund as I never asked for the service. A complaint was registered and I was assured that I would get a call back in next 24hrs. Well, a call back never happened as expected of Airtel Services, but I received a message saying that I have been credited Rs19 by Airtel. I called up Airtel again and I was told that the issue should be raised at 9818334865 number with Vikrant Pander who should be able to resolve the issue. On 30th Jan itself, I received another message confirming my Como Shayari subscription renewal. I have called the above said number where the advisor asked me to hold while she pulls up details. She had put me on mute for 5 mins. and never came back as expected of Airtel again. Today, 31st Jan, again I have received the message confirming my Como Shayari subscription renewal.

Now, either I am mad or Airtel who is playing up with his customers. I would like to know few things.
1. How and when did Como Shayari subscription activated.
2. How much you have charged me for this service since then.
3. Where is the proof of message delivery as I have never received one till date.

I am ready to take this matter to any level as it is not a matter of money but as a matter of cheating. If I can be cheated then there must be hundreds of other customer who do not respond or raise a concern and they fortify their money.

I would appreciate a response at the earliest before going further. I hope atleast ombudsmen has some SLA set for them self.

Thanks and regards,

Gurpal
