I, Narayan Namboodiri, am bringing the fraudulent billing sum that the vodafone cellular company has generated in my account mobile no 9920838867.
On August 15 I have asked the vodafone company to deactivate all the services and change it to simple 99 plan. The company assured that all the services has been deactivated and it is made to Simple 99 plan.
But the company did not do it and kept me in dark. When again I called to the company to enquire about the status of the changes the company denied I did nt made any changes. On August 27 again I placed the request to change my plan to simple 99. The company confirmed that they have made the necessary changes according to my request made.
But they didnt do anything. During this period I did not made a single call neither used sms services and internet on mobile because my mobile was a simple phone that does not have internet or gprs facility.
For more than 90 days i have not made a single call or sms or any other services but the company has sent a bill of Rs1600.
I have repeatedly made complaints to the company. But none of the customer service executive was ready to solve my problems and repeatedly demanded to clear the bills else I have to face the consequences. Even I have mailed 6 letters online to vodafone care email complaining the problems and wanted to know how the company has charged such a huge sum when i have asked for simple 99 plan and have not used any services for over 90 days.
Everytime I have mentioned that the mail I have forwarded will act as an evidence about the fraudulent billing that the company has generated on my name. But the company did not replied to a single mail I have mailed.
On November 29 the complaint have sent a legal notice on plain paper threatening to sue me if I did not pay the bill. But was not ready to explain and solve my queries how the bill was generated. The notice by sent by Devi & Associates, the vodafone's legal consultant. I called one lawyer Satyendra associated with the legal firm.
When I tried to explain the problems he least bothered to listen and asked to pay the sum warning that I have used the services without clearing my doubts. When I explained that the company has not consulted with me and decided to make changes in the billing plan according to their wish and not the plan that I have asked for.
Mr Satyendra kept telling that I should pay the bill else I have to face the consequences.
Please do the needful.
Thanks & rgds
