    Angry Idea cellular limited/ idea net setter

    Dear sir,
    I would like to inform u that i am a past idea cellular company customer and due to some reason, I had disconnected the postpaid connection of idea net setter on 25-02-2011, and cleared all the dues till date and surrendered the Sim with the disconnection/surrendering application of surrender of sim as well all the services and disconnection of net setter but then also a bill amounting Rs 315 had been send to me on 16of april whose invoice no is 0013477905.

    For which i had registered a complaint on 29 april 2011 at Appellate MP of idea and received communication Id: 146221924 on 7may from them.

    Through this communication id i had registered another complaint at Ccare MP of idea cellular on 9may and received Docket Ref No.: 146229938 and they had replied that ur bill will be canceled but then also another bill amounting Rupees 457 has been delivered to me on 16may,whose invoice no is 0013661911.

    As no work has been done to my complaint till today , so I beg consumer forum to please kindly listen to my request and take a serious action against idea cellular limited and withdraw all the current bill as soon as possible and cancel all future billing as the sim is disconnected and unwanted billing gives me mental illness of unwanted dues.

    And apply a cost/penalty according to the consumer forum act against idea cellular limited.

    I am in receipt of your notice Ref. No. PUN/JUL/1662 dated 08 July, 2011, which wrongly alleged me as a defaulter in making payments of Rs. 707.29 towards monthly bill of Sim Card provided by IDEA Cellular Ltd.
    Please allow me to put few words in my defence. I had purchased a Net Setter from IDEA Care Centre, Wanawadi, Pune on 12th Feb. 2011 and got activated. However, before expiry of the Invoice period of 12th Feb. 2011 to 18th Feb. 2011, my son went to IDEA Care Centre, Wanawadi, Pune to stop permanently Internet Services to my Idea Net Setter. The person at IDEA Care Centre advised my son to send message to IDEA Customer Care through IDEA Net Setter to disconnect/ stop the Internet Services. My son followed the same and Internet Services got stopped before the expiry of Invoice period of 12th Feb. 2011 to 18th Feb. 2011. Then the bill of Rs. 125/- for the invoice period 12th Feb. 2011 to 18th Feb. 2011 was paid by me on 17/03/2011.
    Then again to my surprise I received the bill for the Invoice period 19th Feb. to 18th Mar. 2011 for Rs. 657.29, even after getting the Idea Net Setter connection stopped for the Internet Services. My son went to IDEA Care Centre, Wanawadi and complained about the undue bill. Then the person at the Centre told that the bill has come wrongly and that the bill will be corrected to ‘Nil’ and assured that the matter will be solved and settled without paying any bill. They lodged for ‘Waiver’ through Communication I.D. 149734706 in my favour of my IDEA Net Setter Mobile No. 8605017459, A/c No. 1.47161123.
    When I received notice for my payment of unpaid bill, I was shocked. Then my son went to IDEA Care Centre, Wanawadi and told about the notice, then they said that they have already put up for Waiver through Communication I.D. 149734706 and assured that my bill will be nullified. Then I contacted Mr. Ravish on his cell, then he told me to contact Ms. Vandana on her cell. I contacted Ms. Vandana on her cell and told her about my case and gave her Communication I.D. for Waiver, then after verifying the Communication I.D. for Waiver, she also assured me that my bill will be settled. I am a Central Government employee and I won’t do anything wrong or illegal. It is my kind request to look into the matter and nullify my bill and relieve me from the word defaulter.
    Looking forward for your kind and favourable action.

    Unhappy foulplay by idea cellular service

    hello sir i am from kerala and i have been using idea netsetter for around 6 months now.last week i received a call from a guy from idea and asked me that would i like to convert my 2g plan to 3g and i accepted it he said that only rs 150 will be charged extra but my bill was rs 25000 and i used the 3g service only for one day.plz give me some suggestions on what i can do.
