I closed my mobile number 8591822285 with RCOM on 17th Nov 2011. My billing cycle was 20th of every month. I had a security deposit of Rs 250 and I paid additional Rs 20 for the full settlement of the account. I gave a written application to MR Ajay. (representative at Reliance Web World Patiala) to terminate the connection.
I received a legal notice from RCOM to clear my dues on 17th Jan 2012. I was out of station. so I went to the local office on 2nd Feb 2012. I talked to Mr Ajay and he told me that I should not worry and it will be taken care of. They did not give me anything in written and just asked me to note down the payment receipt number 205229136, as the printing machine was not working. I went to meet Mr. Amol and Harish in the collection department and they told me that nothing can be done now and I have to pay the full amount.
They checked my account on my request and told me they can only waive off the entire amount, if I am willing to continue to be a customer. There is no activity on my account after the billing period and the final bill was only Rs 253. This is cheating. Instead of issuing me a refund they want me to continue with a fraud company. They later told me that some one will get back to me. No one has contacted me till date. I want to pursue further action against the company's fraudulent dealing. Please help.
